Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a phenolic laminated sheet which excels in flame retardance, by a method wherein powdered methylol melamine dissolved in a phosphate ester is added to a phenolic varnish, a base material for a laminated sheet is impregnated with the resulting phenolic varnish to obtain a prepreg, the prepregs are laminated with each other and the laminate is molded.
CONSTITUTION: Powdered methylol melamine dissolved in a phosphate ester is added to a phenolic varnish. A base material for a laminated sheet is impregnated with the resulting phenolic varnish. The impregnated material is dried to obtain a prepreg. The prepregs are laminated with each other. The laminate is molded. A mixing ratio of 50W120pts.wt. powdered methylol melamine to 100pts.wt. phosphate, is preferred. A mixing ratio of 1W20pts.wt. powdered methylol melamine to 100pts.wt.
