Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable the strong wind having a constant wind velocity and a constant direction to be secured continuously by allowing the line in adiabatic and airtight structure to be moored in the air by a baloon and opening a part of the upper and the lower ends of the line and installing a windmill power generator in the neighborhood of the opened part at the lower end.
CONSTITUTION: The line 2 in airtight structure which is constituted of the thin film pipe wall made of an adiabatic material is moored in the air by a baloon 3, and a part of the upper and the lower ends of the line 2 is opened, and a windmill type power generator 6 is installed in the neighborhood of the lower end opened part 4. For example, when the difference above the sea level between the upper and the lower ends of the line 2 is 1,000m, and the standard atmosphere having the air reduction rate of 0.65°C/100m is filled in the line 2, and the ascending atmospheric current accompanied with adiabatic expansion of 1°C/100m is formed because of the temperature rise due to solar radiation outside the conduit, then the temperature difference of about 3.5°C is formed at the lower end part of the line.
