Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to detect the wind speed in three dimensional way, by using T- shaped detection tube.
CONSTITUTION: The T-shaped detection tube 10 is prepared, which consists of the vertical tube 10a with the wind direction guide plate 8 extended up and down, horizontal tube 10b open at the both ends in connection with one end of the vertical tube 10a and extended horizontally, and spherical body 9. Further, the vertical tube 10a of the T-shaped detection tube 10 is held to the bearing housing 15 fitted suitable to the fixed part rotationable around the shaft via the bearings 12 and 13, the bearing housing 15 is held in air-tight with the seal 14 containing mercury and it is linked with the energy converter 1 via the guide tube 2. Thus, according to the principle of Pitot tube, the part in the T-shaped detection tube 10 always keeps the maximum minus pressure to the wind speed, the spherical body 9 is operated as the accelerator of wind speed, and if the wind speed is the same, the same minus pressure is caused in the T-shaped detection tube 10 with the wind of either of horizontal or upper or lower down wind passed through along the opening 11, and it is converted into the wind speed at the energy converter 1.
