Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily install a structure for icy waters, by a method wherein, after the structure for icy waters is placed on the bottom of the sea, an excavator bores a sea bottom hole through the guide hole for the structure, and a recess pipe for sea bottom pipe is inserted through the hole to fix it by a means of cement.
CONSTITUTION: A structure 1 for icy waters is towed to and is moored at a given position, and is placed on a sea bottom ground 10. A sea bottom hole 12 is excavated through a pile guide well 3 by means of an excavation bit of an excavator 2. A recess pipe 4 for sea bottom pile, which is detachably secured to a lower part of a guide pipe 5 for sea bottom pile by means of a screw, is inserted into the sea bottom hole 12 through the guide well 3. Cement 7 is poured into a gap between the recess pipe 4 for sea bottom pile and the sea bottom hole 12 for fixing thereat. After the cement 7 is perfectly hardened, a pile material 6 is inserted through and set in the recess pipe 4 for sea bottom pile and the guide pipe 5 for pile.
