Abstract

PURPOSE: A method for hardening the underwater stone by using a piling barge is provided to prevent the deformation or breakage of an upper structure of a stone layer by hardening the underwater stone via an underwater stone hardening device. CONSTITUTION: A hydraulic hammer(40) is selected depending on the height of stone. The length of a hardening bar(50) is determined depending on the depth of water. The hydraulic hammer and the hardening bar are installed in a main leader(10) of a piling barge. A hardening device is set in a hitting position by using a global positioning system(60). Hitting is performed depending on predetermined specifications. A hitting point is changed by using an anchor winch installed in the piling barge.
