Abstract
PURPOSE:To drive an image scanner so that subscanning speed can change smoothly, by picking up a single effective video signal within one subscanning period among effective video signals. CONSTITUTION:An FF19 produces an output when an output is produced at a decoder point (n), and when an output is given at point P of a decoder, an output is reset via a differentiation circuit 13. When the output of this FF19 is applied to an analog gate 30, the output video signal of a CCD image scanner is passed during the period of H level. Next, the operation of count of a counter 11 progresses and an output is produced at a terminal (m) of a decoder 17, then an output is produced at a terminal 4 of a counter decoder 16, an AND gate 20 is closed to stop the count. Thus, one effective signal per one scanning period can be picked up out of effective video signals.
