Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid the deterioration of the TV picture quality by driving the noise applied to the electric signal converted from the incident optical image at the front edge of the photoelectric conversion period into the horizontal blanking period.
CONSTITUTION: Pulse signal 74 is transmitted to counter circuit 69 through terminal 67 and then loaded in the positive period of signal 74, and the number of the positive period of pulse 75 is counted by the amount set up by switch 70. Then pulse 76 is delivered to terminal CAL1 when the counting is over. This signal is delayed at delay circuit 71 by the time of about half of the horizontal blanking period to be applied to FF72 in the form of pulse 77, and signal 78 is transmitted to terminal 73 through terminal Q1. Thus, the noise which is applied to the electric signal converted from the incident optical image at the front edge of the photoelectric period shown by signal 78 is drawn into the horizontal blanking period. As a result, the deterioration of TV picture quality can be prevented.
