Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve inspection precision by bringing ultrasonic probes, provided freely movably in the perpendicular axis direction of a main body, into close contact with parts in a reactor at prescribed positions, by moving them by external power so that they near or separate mutually. CONSTITUTION:The reverse surface of a main body 11 as a position restriction surface comes into contact with the top surface of a jet pump beam 7 for vertical positioning and in this state, supplying external compressed air to an air cylinder 23 contractsa piston rod 24, thereby rocking a slide member 20 vertically. When the slide member 20 is moved up, the intermediate part of a rotary arm 16 is expanded through a coupling body 27 and probes 18 fitted at its lower end move away from one another. As the slide member 20 is moved down, the ultrasonic probes 18 near mutually and then comes into contact with the flanks of the jet pump beam 7 and also in contact with both the flanks of a hook projection 10, thus achieving positioning.
