Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the intake interference by providing check valves permitting the flowing in of air on the by-pass passages which by-pass throttle valves provided on the respective intake passages connected to each cylinder of an engine.
CONSTITUTION: Check valves 10 permitting the flowing in of air in the by-pass passages 7 are provided at their down stream side, said by-pass passages being joined at their upstream and by-passing throttle valves 4 provided on the respective intake passages 3 connected to each cylinder of an engine 1. When a control valve 8 which open/close the passages 7 is opened said passages 7 are connected to an air cleaner 5 through an inlet port 12 and the valves 10 permit the flow of air into the passages 3 to evenly distribute the air to each cylinder. The valves 10 prevent the reverse flow of the air thereby eliminating the introduction of the intake pulsation of one passage 3 to the other and preventing the intake interfence.
