Abstract
PURPOSE: To remove abnormal high-speed revolution of an engine, by providing a first control valve in a waste gate which is a by-pass around a supercharger turbine connected to an exhaust passage and providing a second control valve in the upstream of the connecting portion to the waste gate.
CONSTITUTION: A waste gate 25, which is a by-pass around turbine T and in which is provided a first control valve V1, is connected to an exhaust passage 10 which connects an exhaust port 6 of a combustion chamber 4 constituted by a cylinder head 2 and a piston 3 of an engine E to the turbine T of a turbospercharger. And a second control valve V2 is provided in the exhaust passage 10. Located in the downstream of turbine T but in the upstream of the connecting portion to the waste gate 25. When the number of revolution of engine E is increased, the first control valve V1 is opened and the second control valve V2 is closed so that exhaust gas flows through the by-pass around the trubine T and passes through the waste gate 25. Thereby, the number of revolution of a turbine disc 14 is decreased so that abnormal high-speed revolution of the engine E can be prevented.
