Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect infrared rays emitted from a flame with a good accuracy, by blockading an opening bored in accommodating body accommodating a pyroelectric pellet by a specific window material for infrared rays transmission. CONSTITUTION:A pyroelectric pellet 9 such as LiTaO3 forming electrodes 10, 11 on the outside and inside face and outputting a signal in accordance with the quantity of variation of incident infrared rays, is stuck on a support stand 12 fixed on a metallic base board 14 on which the first and second outer terminals 15, 16 is inserted, through a conductive adhesive 13 and the terminal 15 is connected with the electrode 10 through a golden wire 17 and also, the terminal 16 is connected with the electrode 11 through the stand 12 and the adhesive 13. This pellet 9 is covered with an accommodating body 19 having an opening 20 on the upper part and this opening 20 is blockaded by a window material for infrared rays transmission piled up 1-10mum thickness layer 23, transmitting 3-5mum wavelength infrared rays on the back of 0.1-1mm. thickness base layer 22 not transmitting 5mum or more of wavelength infrared rays.
