CONSTITUTION:Crushed solid waste 6 contg. non-magnetic metallic pieces 6a is supplied onto a cylinder near the opposite parts between rotary cylinders 1 and 1' from a non-magnetic guide plate 7. The non-magnetic rotary cylinders 1, 1' are disposed diagonally by leaving a spacing l, and are fitted internally with permanent magnets 4, 4' which revolve in opposite directions at speeds higher than those of the cylinders and are secured with permanent magnets 2, 2' of alternately different magnetisms to revolving shafts 3. The metallic pieces 6a are moved in opposite directions on the cylinder 1 by such alternating magnetic fields and are recovered into a vessel 8. The nonmetallic pieces 6b are separated and contained into a vessel 9 by riding on the revolution of the cylinder 1.
