Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a sensor element, a transfer element, etc. from the effect of variance, by delivering successively plural inputs via an electric charge transfer element and comparing them with a corresponding reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:The electric signals which are converted photoelectrically through photosensors 2-1... are applied to each corresponding element of a BBD3 and then applied successively to a comparator 4. Synchronously with this transfer of information, contact pieces SC1... of switches S1... are switched successively. Thus the reference voltage is also applied to the comparator 4 via resistance R1... whose resistance value are set according to the variance of the sensors 2-1... and the transfer element of the BBD3. In such constitution, the variance of a sensor element, a transfer element, etc. is substantially excluded to produce a high-quality output which is free from any error.
