Abstract

PURPOSE: To manufacture the polypropylene sheet having a tough and even surface by forming into the sheet form and stretching the compound mixed with polypropylene and the inorganic filler powder surface-treated with organic titanate compound.
CONSTITUTION: The compound composed of crystalline polypropylene 45W60wt% and the inorganic filler powder of which surface is treated with organic titanate compound 40W55wt% is formed into the sheet and this sheet is stretched at the temperature of 70W110°C. By this, the stretched polypropylene sheet having an even surface can be manufactured, even if the incorporating ratio of inorganic filler powder is increased for the reason of cost reduction, improvement of mechanical properties and heat resistance.
