Abstract

PURPOSE:To measure dynamic characteritics with a small size and inexpensive device by applying load upon a test piece between a root member having no displacements in the frequency of the load and a support member. CONSTITUTION:An exciter 12 is mounted to a root member 10 installed via elastic bodies 11 to a foundation B and stanchions 13 are erected thereon. Similarly, a load detector 16 is mounted to a support member 14 placed to the stanchions 13 via elastic bodies 15. Rubber vibration isolator 17 as a test piece is installed between the load detector 16 and the movable part 12a of the exciter 12 so that it is applied with load from the exciter 12. The member 10 and the bodies 11 act as one vibration system that receives the reaction of the load by the exciter 12. It is possible to substantially eliminate the displacement of the member 10 by the frequency of the load by the exciter 12 by suitably selecting the mass of the member 10 and the spring constant of the bodies 11.
