Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetoelectric transducer immune to a spacing of a magnetic pole pattern by a method wherein two element region are laminated arranging directions of corresponding main current channels to have a specified angle with each other. CONSTITUTION:The first element region 16 consisting of a ferromagnetic material such as Ni-Co etc. which has anisotropy in magneto resistive effect is organized as a specified pattern on an oxide film 19 which is formed on a surface of a silicon substrate 18, and furthermore on it the second element region 17 is also organized as a specified pattern with an intermediary of an insulating layer 20. These first and second element regions 16, 17 have straight main current channels 21, 22 and 23, 24 which are connected using bending regions with each other, and main current channels 21 and 22, 23 and 24 are arranged to have a right angle with each other. And furthermore a main current channel 21 in the element region 16 and a main current channel 23 in the element region 17 ae overlaid to have a specified directional angle with each other.
