Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform a correction of both the horizontal and vertical widths of a video screen of a cathode-ray tube which is due to a fluctuation of the anode current, by controlling the deflecting current to be applied to a deflecting yoke based on the anode current. CONSTITUTION:The current of detection of an anode current detecting circuit 9 is converted into the voltage value to be applied to a power supply voltage control circuit 3 and a vertical deflection control circuit 4. The circuit 3 is put between the biasing power source 11 of a horizontal deflection high output circuit 2 and a transformer 6 to control the output of the power source 11 according to the output of the circuit 9. Thus the amplitude of the horizontal saw-tooth wave output of the circuit 2 is varied by the circuit 3 with a change of the output of the power source 11. On the other hand, the circuit 4 varies the negative feedback output of a vertical deflection output circuit 5 or the power supply voltage of an oscillating circuit included in the circuit 5 in accordance with the output of the circuit 9 to vary the amplitude of a vertical saw-tooth wave output of the circuit 5.
