Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the assembly of a rotor iron core by a punching process, by a method wherein a pressure molding section for pressure engagement having nearly circular shape and the concentricity with a shaft hole and nearly same diameter as the diameter of an upper concave section and that of a lower convex section is formed in a punched plate for rotor iron core. CONSTITUTION:A punched plate 1' for the iron core of a squirrel-cage rotor has a shaft bore 2 opened in the center and many slots 3 at the peripheral section. Furthermore, a pressure molding section 7 for pressure engagement is formed at the predetermined position of the rear part of the punched plate 1' by composing concentricity with an axis 2. The pressure formation section 7 for pressure engagement has a concave section 8 at the upper side and a convex section 9 at the lower side and the diameter of the concave section 8 is formed smaller than that of the convex section 9 by about 0.5mm.. The upper concave section 8 is engaged by pressing with the lower convex section 9 of the punched plate for other squirrel-cage rotor iron core to form a squirrel-cage rotor iron core.
