Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a device to be used even in a vacuum and even in case a fluid is used in a small amount, by a method wherein a core, having a pocket in which a given amount of liquid is contained, is caused to slide in a valve rod which is brought into a press contact with a valve seat in a liquid recetacle through a spring. CONSTITUTION:A valve rod 8 is brought into press contact with a valve seat 7 in a liquid receptacle 6 through a spring 14, and a core 9, having a pocket 10 in which a given amount of a liquid 19 can be held, is slidably positioned in the valve rod 8. In this constitution, with a connecting rod 16 raised, the valve rod 8 is raised via a hook 12, and the liquid 19 flows into the pocket 10. With the connecting rod 16 then lowered, the valve rod 8 is also lowered, and the pocket 10 is closed off. Through the further lowering of the rod 16, the hook 12 presses downward the core 9 which enters into a discharge chamber 20, and the liquid 19 in the pocket 10 drops along a guide shaft 11. This permits the reliable and easy use of a device even in a vacuum and even in case a liquid is used in a small amount for dropping.
