Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the simultaneous taking out of a velocity of flow signal and a concentration signal and to measure a quantity of flow of pulverulent bodies immediately, by a method wherein an electrostatic capacity between electrode plates, which always flactuates according to the concentration of pulverulent bodies in a 2-phase fluid, is detected by means of a pair of electrodes plates. CONSTITUTION:A pair of electrode plates 31 and 32 are positioned facing and opposite to each other at an outer wall of a line 2 through which a 2-phase fluid flows, and the electrode plate 31 is grounded, the electrode plate being connected to a detecting circuit 4 to detect an electrostatic capacity C between the electrode plates which always flactuates resulting from the passage of the 2-phase fluid 1 between the electrode plates. The detected output signal is sent to an A.C., D.C. separating circuit 5 to separate the alternating current (e) and the direct current E in the signal, and the signal is installed to a correlative circuit 6 to operate the velocity of flow of the pulverulent bodies in the 2-phase fluid 1 based on a self-correlation followed by the lapse of a time tau of the signal (e). The output signal for velocity of flow operation is sent to a multiplier 7 to multiply it by the signal E, and a multiplication output signal is outputted to a signal converter 8 where it is converted into an unified signal, having a given signal form, and is taken out.
