Abstract

PURPOSE: To change the volume ratio to the discharge side pressure suitably to operating condition by a method wherein the size of the discharge port is changed by means of discharge port control plates in the ratio reciprocal to the numbers of teeth of male and female rotors.
CONSTITUTION: The discharge port control plate 7 is provided at the location of the discharge port 9 of the side plate 6 of the compressor consisting of the engagement between the male rotor 1 and the female rotor 2. By turning the male and female rotors 1 and 2, the gas is induced from a suction side and discharged from a discharge side 5. The discharge port control plate 7 of the discharge port 9 is provided at a mounting port 8 exchangeably with the control plate 7 having the figure and dimension to obtain the compression ratio suitable for operating condition so as to enabling to make the operation with the gas compression ratio in response to the discharge side pressure, resulting in improving the efficiency of the gas compressor and eliminating the waste of operating power.
