Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce harmful voltage inflicted upon speed detecting coils by driving magnet poles by a method wherein at least driving magnet poles or speed detecting magnet poles or speed detecting coils are skewed in an area where two magnetic poles of a rotor meet. CONSTITUTION:Located on a rotor 5 are eight driving magnet poles represented by 18N and 18S, and a part 13a in a border area 13, opposite to a speed detecting coil 11, between two driving magnet poles is skewed and magnetized with a prescribed angle of theta1. When this process is completed, speed detecting poles 9N and 9S along the circumference of the rotor 5 are magnetized. By this, harmful voltage induced in speed detecting coils by driving magnet poles can be reduced down to costheta1.
