Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the detection of a main magnetic flux density by a transformer by intimately contacting a Hall effect element covered with high magnetic permeability molding magnetic material at the periphery with the butted parts of magnetic cores. CONSTITUTION:A Hall effect element 3 is intimately contracted with the butted parts 5 of E-shaped and I-shaped magnetic cores 1, and the periphery of the element 3 is covered with a magnetic molding material mixed with high magnetic permeability magnetic powder, e.g., ferrite powder or the like in a synthetic resin. Since small air gap exists at the butted parts 5, a part phi3 of main magnetic flux phi0 is externally leaked, but since the magnetic molding material 4 has high magnetic permeability, the magnetic flux density of the magnetic flux phi2 passing through the Hall effect element 3 can be consequently increased. Thus, the Hall effect element 3 can detect the value near the original magnetic flux density of the magnetic cores 1 and can reduce the decrease in the detecting efficiency.
