Abstract
PURPOSE: To make the configuration of a transformer compact by providing cavities having a cross-sectional area in such a way that the effective permeability of the magnetic core is not reduced in comparison with the cross-sectional area of the iron core from the viewpoint of the practical use, and combining a magnetoelectric transducer to the magnetic flux. CONSTITUTION:A Hall-effect element 3 acts as a magnetoelectric transducer, and cutaway portions 4 are provided to form cavities wherein the element 3 is incorporated. The cross-sectional area of said cutaway portions 4 in the direction at a right angle with the direction of the main flux is sufficiently smaller than the cross- sectional area of the magnetic core. The element 3 is incorporated in the cutaway portion 4, effective permeability of the magnetic core is not reduced as far as the practical purpose is concerned.
