Abstract
PURPOSE: To control blast and seedling rot of rice plants simultaneously in cultivating rice plant seedlings in a raising box with a small amount of a drug, by mixing a granular agent containing kasugamycin or a salt thereof previously with a ridging soil for soil cover, sowing seeds in soil in the box, and covering the seeds with the ridging soil.
CONSTITUTION: Blast and seedling rot of rice plants are simultaneously controlled by mixing kasugamycin or a salt thereof in a granular form in a small amount of 50W2,000mg as an active constituent per raising box of rice plant seedlings (size: 30cm×60cm×3cm) previously with a ridging soil for soil cover, sowing seeds of rice plants in soil in the raising box, and covering the seeds with the ridging soil. The granular agent containing the kasugamycin or salt thereof is prepared by kneading 1.15pts.wt. kasugamycin or salt thereof with 3pts.wt. calcium lignin sulfonate and 95.85pts.wt. talc and clay in mixture fully, granulating the kneaded material, drying and dressing the resultant granules.
