Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the short-circuiting caused to the wear of a lead wire by a method wherein an end of a feeder coil spring is connected to a winding around a movable part and the other end is connected to a feeder terminal. CONSTITUTION:Permanent magnets 32 and 34 are arranged inside a casing 30. Positioned inside the permanent magnets 32 and 34 is a cylindrical guide yoke 36 and the gap between the magnets and the yoke is occupied by a movable part 38. A movable winding 40 is wound around the outside surface of the movable part 38 and the supply of electric power to the movable winding 40 is effected through a feeder terminal 50, a feeder coil spring 42, and a terminal 46. This ensures a reliable operation and enables the movable part to be positioned with accuracy. This, a linear actuator free of wear caused wire separation or short-circuiting, also compact in size and high in reliability, can be constituted.
