CONSTITUTION:A load current signal detected by a load current detecting circuit 9 is shifted to DC by a level shifter 10, is amplified by an amplifier 14, and controls a current of a constant-current source transistor TR13 by a signal being proportional to this output signal. In this case, a TR11 and a TR12 are used for amplifying an output of the amplifier 14, and compensating a temperature of the TR13, respectively. In this constitution, in case when a current flowing to a load 6 is a little, as for an output TR3, a little current will do, as well, therefore, an output of the amplifier 14 for amplifying a signal of the load current detecting circuit 9 is made small, and a current of the constant-current source TR13 is reduced. In case when a load current is increased, a current of the constant-current TR13 is increased by its increased portion, a current of a Zener diode 4 and base voltage of the output TR3 are made constant, and also output voltage 5 is made constant, by which electric power in case of usual light load is reduced.
