Abstract
PURPOSE: To recover and purify effectively fluorescent substances in cleaning water and developing water when manufacturing emission screens of color television cathode ray tubes, by suspending the recovered fluorescent substances in pure water and treating them with a removing agent made of isotactic polypropylene.
CONSTITUTION: After the dehydration with acentrifuge of photosensitive fluorescent substance slurry recovered with cleaning water and developing water when manufacturing emission screens of color television cathode ray tubes, the slurry is put into a tank 7 and pure water is added to it to wash it with water rotating a stirrer 8, and then the upper clean water in removed by decantation before pure water is again is removed by decantation before pure water is again added to fully suspend the fluorescent substances. Thereafter, the fluorescent substance suspension A is reacted with a nonwoven textile 6 made of isotactic polypropylene for 60W180min before it is filtered with a centrifuge to recover the fluorescent substances. The reuse of the recovered fluorescent substances as the raw material for the photosensitive fluorescent substances slurry provides the photosensitive fluorescent substance slurry which can form uniform coating having no extremely thin coating portions in the form of a circle or stripe on the photosensitive fluorescent substance coating formed on a face panel.
