Abstract

PURPOSE:To oprate a plurality of input and output ports with different period and data transmission speed at the same time, by providing each input/output port storage means and priority designation gate means and enabling to use the memories with priority to ports faster in the data transmission speed. CONSTITUTION:When a video information is inputted to a memory section 1, the video information is inputted from a scanner 2 via a coder 3. A compressed code data received through a communication control section 6 from an external line is inputted to the memory section 1 with the identification number for every original unit. The video data inputted is stored as splitted to a pluraity of pages and each page is linked in the order constituting the originals. The identification number of each original is managed with an input/output control section and a system control section 8 provided inside the memory section 1. When the video information is outputted from the memory section 1, if the output of the original is requested, the system control section 8 gives the identification number of the original to the input/output control section and the video data is sequentially read out from the memory and transmitted to the output device.
