PURPOSE:To improve operability by reducing operating force when a cartridge ejecting mechanism is energized, by providing the pinch-roller backward movement part of a head base with a side end part which permits a collision piece to move aside in the latter half of an ejection-lever intruding stroke. CONSTITUTION:The pinch-roller backward movement part 6a of a head base 6 is provided with a backward movement part 8 which moves the collision piece 10 of a pinch-roller supporting mechanism 9 back in the backward movement of the head base 6 corresponding to the former half of the intruding stroke of an ejection lever 1, and a side end part 11 which permits the collision piece 10 to move aside in the backward movement of the head base 6 corresponding the latter half of the intruding stroke of the lever 1. In the latter half of the stroke, for example, the collision piece 10 moves to the side end part 11 of the base 6 and the force of a spring 20 operates on the head base 6 as only frictional force.
