Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the insertion and ejection of cassette through a light touch, by providing a pair of coupling pins extended to the side of a cassette holder movably in the guide groove formed in the housing wall. CONSTITUTION:One end 62 of an ejection lever 60 fitted movably in a housing 13 is depressed downward against a spring 64. The ejection lever 60 turns clockwise through this depression and the switch 66 is OFF to interrupt the power application to a load Z and a solenoid 45 so that a pinch roller 54 and a magnetic head are gone back to a position where they are not in contact with the cassette tape. Further, when the ejection lever 60 turns clockwise, another end 68 of the lever 60 slightly pushes up a cassette holder 15 to give a starting force to a pinion 36 via coupling pins 38 and the lever 26 clockwise, allowing to turn the motor 20. Since the lever 26 turns counterclockwise via gear train from the motor 20, the cassette holder 15 moves to the direction of cassette loading and ejection.
