Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism of a device to miniaturize and reduce the weight by linking the cam unit engaging the pawl to the slider for detection of a cassette when the cassette storing portion is set to the lower position. CONSTITUTION:When cassette storing portion 14 is set to the upper position, detecting switch 21 holds unoperating status. When cassette storing portion 14 is moved into the storing position by depressing it under the condition that a cassette is not set, roller 17 for lock is guided to the position on the way of concave portion 22 by means of sliding the upper sloping portion and is stopped at the position. In such a status, detecting switch 21 does not operate. When cassette storing portion 14 is moved into the storing position by depressing it under the condition that cassette 29 was set, the lower surface of cassette 29 depresses gradually the upper end of slider 24 for detection of a cassette and roller 17 for lock is inserted into the deepest portion of concave 22, so that detecting switch 21 is set to the operation state.
