Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect not only transfer torque but also rotation generating torque by mounting two strain gage type acceleration converters instead of a torque converter to an arbitrary position of a rotor of a dynamo electric machine. CONSTITUTION:For a torque measuring device, a strain gage acceleration converter 10A is used as a torque detecting element. And, a deadweight 11 is supported with a base 13 via a spring 12, and to the spring 12 a strain gage 14 is stuck. Two acceleration converters 10A and 10B with such a constitution are installed at symmetrical positions on a locus with the same radius of an arbitrary diameter that takes a rotary shaft 16 of a rotor 15 of a dynamo electric machine 8 as a center. Hereby, acceleration is applied to the deadweight 11 with the deformation of the spring 12, and by the strain gage 14 stuck on the spring 12 an electric output proportional to the acceleration is obtained, thus torque can be detected reliably.
