Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable torque ripple under rotation of a rotator such as electric motor to be measured by connecting a mounting table which rotates in one piece with the motor to a load sensor which is fixed at one end to a fixing table. CONSTITUTION:A mounting table 12 which is rotatable around a shaft 11 is mounted by way of the bearing 13 of a fixing table 10, and an electric motor 1 having an output shaft 3 is so installed that it rotates in one piece with said mounting table 12. Since a load sensor 14 is connected at one end to the table 12, and is fixed at the other end to the table 10, the force generated in the stator and rotor parts during the running of the motor to be measured outputs torque and revolution in the output shaft 3, which simultanously generates the reaction of the shaft output in the stator part, and this reaction is applied as a position displacing force to the fixed load sensor 14; therefore, if the output of the load detecting element of this load sensor is measured, the torque ripple of the motor 1 is measured.
