Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize the working against the fluctuation of temperature for a device that performs an automtic focus adjustment by driving the lens with a piezoelectric element, by setting the piezoelectric element within a loop of an oscillator. CONSTITUTION:An exciting electrode 20 and a vibration state detecting electrode 21 are formed on the surface of a piezoelectric element 60; while a common electrode 22 is formed on the rear surface to be earthed. The signal C detected by the electrode 21 is applied to a phase shifter and amplified by an amplifier 25 to be applied to the electrode 20. The extent of phase shift is set for the shifter 24 so that a closed loop comprising the piezoelectric oscillator 60, the shifter 24 and the amplifier 25 has a positive feedback. The resonance frequency of this system varies as the ambient temperature changes, but the amplitude of vibration has no change.
