PURPOSE:To enable an operation condition of highest efficiency to be maintained over the whole revolution number range, by linearly advancing the energization starting phase of the current supplied to the winding of a brushless electric motor according to the increase in the number of revolutions thereof. CONSTITUTION:When the output signals a of a position detector 6 is at high level, a capacitor C1 is charged, and because said charging current is proportional to a velocity signal vr, the inclination of a signal b with respect to a rotational angle theta is made constant. The signal b and a velocity signal vr' (vr-VBE: VBE of a transistor T3) are compared with each other by an amplifier OP2. The output thereof becomes high in level when the signal vr' is larger than the signal b, so that a capacitor C3 is charged.
