When a plural number is set, an AND circuit 10, which ANDs the high-level discrimination output of the means 6, the high-level coincidence output of a coincidence means 12 between a copied-sheet-number count value and the set number, and a high-level paper ejection end signal for the ejection of the final copied paper from a copying machine, generates high-level output as an original paper feed drive signal. Therefore, even if a jam occurs, the actual number of copies never becomes less than the set number owing to jam handling, and copying is restarted easily without performing complicated operation after resetting.
