Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce resistance of a winding and to enhance efficiency of an electric motor without deteriorating the space factor in slots by a method wherein the sectional area of the electric wires at the end parts of the winding is made as larger than the sectional area of the electric wires inside of the slots. CONSTITUTION:At the winding to be wound in the slots of a core 3, the sectional area of the electric wires 3 to be arranged at the end parts of the winding is formed as larger than the sectional area of the electric wires 1 to be arranged at the inside parts of the slots. Accordingly resistance of the winding can be reduced without affecting the space factor in the slots to enable to reduce resistance loss and to enhance efficiency of the electric motor.
