Abstract
PURPOSE: To realize blue flame combustion by a method wherein a liquid fuel is atomized by an atomizer and the atomized fuel is introduced into a high temperature air chamber so as to be completely vaporized through a vaporizing device. In this case, the high temperature heat obtained from the blue flames is reintroduced into the air chamber to accelerate the heating of the air chamber and the fuel is heated by a heater at the time of initiation of combustion of the fuel.
CONSTITUTION: The liquid fuel injected from an injection nozzle 1 is first heated by a heater 4 and is introduced into the high temperature air chamber 2 where the fuel is vaporized. The vaporized fuel is then introduced to a combustion plate 3 by the sucking and blowout actions of a blower 5 and is discharged from combustion holes 11 in the combustion plate 3. Thus, when the fuel from the combustion holes 11 is ignited, it burns with blue flames. At this stage, the heater 4 operating at the time of initiation of combustion is stopped. The air sucked by the blower 5 enters the combustion apparatus through an air sucking and blowout port 8 and conducts the high temperature heat from high temperature heat discharge ports 6 into the air chamber 2 through an inlet port 9 via a heated air introducing passage 7 in a repetitive fashion so that stabilized blue flames are obtained.
