Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase a controlling range and to shorten the preheating time, by juxtaposing more than two gasifying burners in one combustion chamber, and by providing a baffle plate to the downstream side of a flame port, as well as to controll ON-OFF condition for one of the above-mentioned two burners. CONSTITUTION:This combustion apparatus is composed such that the room air sucked from a suction port 2 by a convection fan 4 is mixed with combustion gas fed from a combustion chamber 5, and the heated air is fed into a room to be heated, from supply openings 3. Two gasifying burners 6 are juxtaposed in the under part of a combustion chamber 5. With such an arragnement, combustion capacity can be controlled within the controlling range of about 50% capacity, by controlling ON-OFF conditions of a motor for one of two gasifying burners 6. In addition, a heat reflecting baffle plate 19 in the shape of a pyramid, provided with an opening 19a in the center part is arranged to the downstream side of flame ports 17 of a gasifying burner 6, so that the pre-heating time heated by an electric heater can be shortened.
