Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the use of the output signal of an optical position detector as the phase sinusoidal wave current reference signals of a synchronous motor by varying the quantity of light of a light source of the optical position detector for detecting the rotating position of the motor. CONSTITUTION:A speed controlling circuit 7 applies a current reference DC signal responsive to the deviation between the speed reference signal from a speed reference generator 6 and the speed signal of a synchronous motor 3 detected by a tachometer generator 5 to the light source 4-1 of an optical position detector 4. After the light emitted from the light source 4-1 is relfected on a reflector provided on the surface of a rotor 4-2 coupled directly to the shaft of the motor 3, it is detected by a photodetector 4-3. In this manner a photoelectric converter 8 can output a sinusoidal current reference signal having both the rotary position detecting signal of the motor 3 and the current reference signal to current controlling circuits 12-1- 12-3.
