Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a powdered aerosol compsn. which can be obtd. at low cost and in which safty and scattering during use are improved, by forming a suspension composed of an alcohol, water, a hydrophobic powder, an object agent and 1-chloro- 1,1-difluoroethane or 1,1-difluoroethane.
CONSTITUTION: There is formed a suspension composed of 5W80wt% 1W7C alcohol, 5W80wt% water, 0.5W60wt% hydrophobic powder exhibiting a pH of 5W9 and an appropriate amount of an object agent. Then 5W40wt% propellant contg. 1-chloro-1,1-difluoroethane and/or 1,1-difuoroethane is suspended in the above suspension. Examples of said hydrophobic powders are talc, Kaolin, red iron oxide, bentonite and aluminum stearate. When a hydrophobic powder exhibiting a pH outside the range of 5W9 is used, the powder agglomerates within an aerosol container and the agglomerate cause clogging of a valve. Thus, it is not preferred to use such powder as a reagent for the aerosol.
