Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable accurate measurement of an immune constituent in a sample by a method wherein a reductant is added to an immune reaction system and thereby the effect of various proteins and the like contained in the sample is removed when the measurement of the enzyme immunity is performed by the use of an enzyme-marked immune constituent.
CONSTITUTION: When the immune constituent of a microcomponent in an organism, such as, for example, antigen, antibody and further a receptor and isozyme, is measured by a method of enzyme immunity measurement wherein the enzyme- marked immune constituent is used, the reductant such as sodium thiosulfate, ascorbic acid and pyrogallol is added to the immune reaction system in such a degree that the final density thereof is about 0.02W0.3%. By this constitution, a phenomenon that various proteins contained in the sample make the adsorptive reaction nondifferentially with the enzyme of the enzyme-marked immune constituent and thereby give a considerable effect to the value of measurement is prevented.
