Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to improve the thermal efficiency of the entire part of the device without the increase in the installation area by connecting in series three heating chambers within an enclosed casing and devising the configurations and arrangements of the heating chambes and combustion chambers connected thereto.
CONSTITUTION: The first to third heating chambers 2W4 are provided within a casing 1 provided with air feed ports 5 and 5 at a top plate and exhaust ports 6 and 6 at both longitudinal ends, and having a configuration enclosed into a box as a whole, and an after -burner 27 is installed therein. Upon this occasion, the first heating cylinder 2 is formed into a cylindrical shape and solid fuel supplied through feed ports 9a and 9b is burnt by combustion flame due to the burner mounted on the burner part 10. The combustion gas in this case is completely burnt by the after- burner 27. The combustion gas is passed through the second heating chamber 3, collected flue 16, and third heating chamber 4, and then exhausted through a flue 19. During this operation, air introduced from the fan 8 is heated and exhausted through the exhaust port 6.
