Abstract
PURPOSE:Royal jelly is treated with a protease to remove the proteins contained in it to produce storable and high-nutrition ingredient for healthful food. CONSTITUTION:Royal jelly is combined with a protease and kept at a prescribed temperature, e.g., at 37 deg.C under stirring for about 48hr. Then, the product is dried by heating under blowing air or freeze-drying and nutritions such as vitamin B1, and B2 and C and two or three kinds of fatty acids occuring in nature are added thereto. Finally, the mixture is made into a powder or pieces.
