CONSTITUTION:A mold 7 is attached to a fixed platen 3 and a mold 7' is attached temporarily to a mobile platen 5, and the thickness of the mold 7, 7' plus alpha is put into a mold thickness set switch 21. Then a toggle 8 is extended and the clamp unit 6 is moved via a control unit 22 till the both molds 7, 7' contact and the mold 7' is fixed. Further, the additional amount corresponding to the predetermined clamp force is set in a clamp force setting switch 27 and after the mold opening the clamp unit is moved by the set amount, operation of clamp force adjustment ends.
