Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate and recover waste gases by an activated coal and to utilize them as fuel at the time of introducing hot wind of an incinerator into a gas oven and baking paint contg. an inflammable org. solvent on a metallic sheet.
CONSTITUTION: Hot wind heated to about 800°C is generated from an incinerator 1 and is fed to a color oven 3 through a piping 2. The waste gas having retained heat of about 350°C and contg. an inflammable org. solvent is exhausted from the oven 3. Said gas passes through a piping 5 and is cooled on route down to below 100°C by a heat exchanger 7 and a cooler 9 in order to permitting eash adsorption to an activated carbon, thence it is introduced into an activated carbon packed tower A, where only the inflammable org. solvent is adsorbed.
