Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:The titled compound of formula I (R1 is alkyl, cylohexyl or benzyl; R2 is alkyl, cyclohexyl or phenyl; R1 and R2 may together form a 5- membered, 6-membered or bicyclic hetero ring containing one N atom, two N atoms, or one N atom and one O atom; R3 is alkyl; m is 3W5).
EXAMPLE: N-Cyano-S-methyl-N'-[3-(4-phenylpiperazino)propyl]isothiourea.
USE: Remedy and preventive for peptic ulcer. It is effective to hyperacidity, gastric ulcer, and duodenal ulcer. It is also useful as an intermediate of the compound having similar activities.
PROCESS: The compound of formula I is prepared by reacting the amine derivative of formula II with dialkyl cyanodithioimide carbonate derivative of formula III (R4 is alkyl) in the absence of solvent or in a solvent such as ethanol, chloroform, etc., at room temperature or under cooling.
