Abstract
NEW MATERIAL:A compound expressed by formula I (R1 is H or alkyl; R2 is alkyl or phenyl or R1 and R2 together form a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring containing one nitrogen atom, two nitrogen atoms or one nitrogen - one oxygen atom; R3 is lower alkyl; Z is S or -CH2-; m is an integer 1W3; n is 0 or an integer 1W3).
EXAMPLE: N-Cyano-N'-[ 3-(6-dimethylamino-3-oxo-2-pyridazinyl)propyl ]-N'-methylguanidine.
USE: A medicine, useful as a remedy and a preventing agent against peptic ulcers, e.g. gastric hyperacidity, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, and capable of exhibiting the acitivity of inhibiting the gastric juice secretion and inhibiting the development of experimental ulcers, e.g. the aspirin, stress or Shay ulcer, with prolonged action, weak toxicity and improved chemical resistance.
PROCESS: An amine derivative expressed by formula II is reacted with dimethyl cyanodithioimidocarbonate to give an isothiourea derivative expressed by formula III, which is then reacted with an amine derivative expressed by formula IV to afford the compound expressed by formula I.
