Abstract
PURPOSE:To finely control the generated frequency of a controlled rectifier circuit by switching and controlling the element of the controlled rectifier circuit at every predetermined half-wave of a power source. CONSTITUTION:The phases U, V, W of 3-phase AC power source 1 are led to a transformer 2, the elements THU, THU1, THV, THV1, THW, THW1 of a controlled rectifier circuit 3 are connected to the output of the transformer 2 commonly, and the output of the circuit 3 is connected to the input terminals MU, MV, MW of a 3-phase induction motor 4. A speed feedback signal is produced from a speed detector 5, is compared with the set signal of a speed setting unit 6 by a comparator 7, and a speed controller 8 is controlled by the deviation signal from the comparator. A switching signal for controlling the generated frequency of the circuit 3 is applied from the frequency controlling circuit 9, and a voltage phase controlling circuit 10 is operated simultaneously in response to the frequency. The elements in the circuit 3 are switched at every predetermined half-wave of the power source.
